The NZVBA facilitates trade and investment between Vietnam and New Zealand. Our team is comprised of experienced professionals with expertise in distribution, sales, and marketing across a range of industries in Vietnam and Asia Pac including FMCGs, pharmaceuticals, forestry, cosmetics, medicine and more. With our extensive network and in-depth understanding of the Vietnamese marketplace, we offer tailored solutions to help our partners succeed in this complex and dynamic environment. Since our establishment in 2022, we have become the go-to private trade mission for businesses looking to enter or expand their operations in Vietnam.

Importing from New Zealand | Exporting to Vietnam
New Zealand’s natural environment, developed economy and rigorous quality standards lend itself to a wide range of premium FMCG and pharmaceutical products which have for decades been exported to Europe, North America, Australia, North-East Asia and Singapore. Vietnam’s developing economy, the CPTPP and a unique set of geo-political circumstances have created fertile terrain for a new relationship to flourish and new friends to be made.

Importing from Vietnam | Exporting to New Zealand
Vietnam’s producers are deservedly thriving, as economies around the world open their eyes to the quality of their produce. New Zealand is a relatively small but reliable trading partner. Its food quality standards are amongst the toughest in the world yet recent agreements have opened the door for Vietnamese producers to export to New Zealand. While changing food distribution networks in New Zealand on the back of government interventions to increase competition among supermarkets are creating new opportunities for Vietnamese producers to export more of their superb products to New Zealand.
The NZVBA works with a range of Vietnamese producers of tropical fruits, nuts and seafood including pomelo, dragonfruit, cashews, mangoes and prawns. All sustainably grown or farmed, all fully accredited for export. We work in partnership with both the producers themselves and the local authorities in which the goods are being grown or farmed around Vietnam.
